Syllabus
The program of seminars varies each year. Following types of presentations are usually included:
1. invited expert lectures (both domestic and foreign)
2. reports from travels abroad, conferences and other events of interest
3. lectures given by PhD students
4. short communications of student about progress of MSc thesis
5. defence of "seminar theses" of 3rd year students
Annotation
Seminars at the Department of Hydrobiology have two major aims. First, to provide an opportunity for students to present their own results and progress of their masters or PhD theses.
Second, experts from both Czech and foreign research institutes present current trends in hydrobiological and other related sciences. The seminar schedules are posted at bulletin of Czech Limnological Society.
