Please note, the lectures are given in Czech language. English version of the course can be requested in advance if there are at least 3 students. Review of higher classification, phylogeny, ontogeny and biology of insects, characterization of all insects orders, with emphazis on central European entomofauna, and taxa important from economic and bioindication point of view. Practical course - determination and study of the most common representatives, building of own collection. Optional for all specialization of Zoology, except Entomology. Course is recommended after passing course of Zoology of Invertebrates.
