Annotation

Please note, the lectures are given in czech language only. The course extends and supplements the topics of the bachelor course Invertebrate zoology. The course is intended mainly for the students of the master specialisation Invertebrate zoology, but is open for other students as well. The course is based mainly on active work of students (students' projects, search for information, study of selected current scientific and oral presentations). The course consists of the following two independent parts:

The second part of the course is devoted to the current knowledge and approaches in the phylogeny, higher taxonomy and ecology of invertebrates (mainly on the level of phyla). The students will work with selected key - scientific papers and reviews and discuss the main results. The course is supplemented with the practical classes focused on the morphology and anatomy of selected taxa.
