Annotation

Toxicology of environment, ecotoxicology, is purely multidisciplinary subject dealing with topics intersection area of environmental chemistry, toxicology, environmental protection and ecology. It develops further applications of their methodologies on the entire environment. The main topics of ecotoxicology are the study of impacts, mechanism and consequences of anthropogenic xenobiotics effects on environment, including human being. The respective ecotoxicological output is information applicable for prediction of environmental xenobiotics behavior, minimization of negative impacts of xenobiotics environmental incidence, for protection of ecosystem and for prevention and evaluation of hazards resulting from the usage of chemicals. The obtained knowledge is applied within the safety and legislative regulations.

Note: at the time when epidemiological measures apply, the lecture can also take place in an interactive way in the online mode, eg Google Meets, Windows Teams, etc.
