1. Introduction, explanation of basic terms.2. Polarographic and voltammetric methods.3. Potentiometric and amperometric methods.4. Electrode materials for determination of reducible analytes.5. Electrode materials for determination of oxidizable analytes.6. Chemically modified and nanostructured electrode surfaces.7. Electrochemical DNA biosensors.8. Overview of analytes in medicine, pharmacy, toxicology and environment.9. Sampling and treatment of real samples, their preliminary separation and preconcentration.10. Procedure for elaboration of electroanalytical method, validation, automation, miniaturization.11. Evaluation and statistical data processing.12. Presentation and publication of measured data, work with literary sources.

Annotation

The lecture deals with theoretical and practical aspects of utilisation of electroanalytical methods in medicine, pharmacy, toxicology and environmental analysis.

The lecture is taught in English for Erasmus students.
