Syllabus

1. Polarography: influence of oxygen, construction of a calibration curve, standard addition method, logarithmic analysis of a polarographic curve, characterization of investigated analytes).

2. Conductimetry: conductimetric titrations of different acids, statistical evaluation of results, discussion of shapes of titration curves.

3. Automatic potentiometric titration: optimization of conditions for titrimetric determination of divalent manganese by permanganate in the presence of potassium diphosphate.

4. UV/VIS spectrophotometry: determination of the dissociation constant of a coloured indicator.

5. Flame photometry: optimization of conditions for the determination of sodium and potassium.

6. Atomic absorption spectrophotometry: determination of zinc in tape water.

7. Flow injection analysis: the influence of different parameters on sample dispersion.

8. Gas chromatography: qualitative and quantitative analysis of a mixture of hydrocarbons.

9. Liquid chromatography: HPLC analysis of a mixture of azodyes.

10. Separation on ion exchangers: determination of break-through curve of strong katex.

11. Caplillary electrophoresis: qualitative and quantitative analysis of a mixture of nitro compounds.

12. IR spectrometry: structural analysis and multicomponent analysis.
