Problems from Chemical Olympiad (Biochemistry part)
The subject is focused on teaching of high school Biochemistry from the perspective of a student - a future chemistry teacher. It reveals problematic sections of biochemistry education. It presents a wide range of didactic materials, models and some selected school experiments.
Student: solves the most difficult topics of high school chemistry (photosynthesis, respiratory chain (electron transport chain, proteosynthesis) and understands biochemical content. get acquainted with selected activation methods and the didactic aids that can be used in teaching biochemistry solves selected tasks from the chemical Olympiad (category of biochemistry) and critically assesses them. compiles some models of natural substances (carbohydrates, proteins).
The main goal of this subject is to analyze individual chapters of high school Biochemistry, create suitable materials and present them.
