Annotation
The course is designed primarily for undergraduate students of demography. The aim is to acquaint students with basic methods of creating thematic maps and basic cartographic means of expression.
Emphasis is placed on the creation of thematic maps and their practical use in presenting the results of demographic research. Attention is also paid to the general theory of cartography (content and content of maps, classification of means of expression), especially in terms of its practical use in the creation of thematic maps.
