Annotation

Exogenous geodynamics is an introductory lecture which covers main aspects of all geological processes on the surface of the Earth and the interaction of the uppermost part of the lithosphere with the hydrosphere, atmosphere and biosphere - weathering and soil forming processes. It deals with the erosion, transport and deposition of the rock materials and gives an overview of the geologic activity of the Earth's gravity, groundwater (including carst geology), rivers, glaciers, winds (including geology of deserts), lakes and oceans.

Outline of the geology of sedimentary basins, their paleogeographic characteristics, tectonic and facies development. An overview of the geological aspects of geomorphology and principles ruling the successive etaps in relief development - geomorphological cycles.
