Syllabus
Kurs je zaměřen na tektonostratigrafický a petrologický vývoj sedimentárních pánví a na sedimentární záznam vývoje litosféry v časovém měřítku pánví i orogenních cyklů.
Formou kombinace přednášek a semináře nad zadanou literaturou seznámí posluchače s aktuálním pohledem na hlavní koncepce, v seminářích budou diskutovány vybrané příkladové studie.
Podle aktuálních možností jsou zařazována také témata, prezentovanáhostujícími badateli z jiných institucí i zahraničí.
Annotation
The course is focused on the tectono-sedimentary and petrological evolution of sedimentary basin-fills and on the sedimentary record of lithosphere evolution on basinal to orogenic timescales. The combation of lectures and reading seminars will help the students get familiar with the current views on main concepts, and selected case studies will be discussed in the seminars. MSc -level students are the primary audience. Prerequisites include Geotectonics, Sedimentary
Geology, Petrology.
