- Introduction - what is Hydrogeology, history of the hydrogeology, organization scheme of czech hydrogeology
- Basic terms in hydraulics, hydrological cycle, porosity, permeability, groundwater movements, amin equation of flow
- Principles of hydrochemistry, groundwater compositions, chemical reactions
- Regional hydrogeology of Czech republic - qualitative and quantitative description of main aquifers in Czech republic
- Mineral waters in Czech republic - qualitative and quantitative description of main sources of mineral water, their exploitation and protection
* Practical skills:
Calculation of water balance components, hydrologic equation, separation of baseflow, use of Darcy´s law, hydraulic tests.
Annotation
Main target of the lecture is give a short outline of the hydrogeology in atractive and understandable way. Graduate a subject of hydrogeology suppose the grammar school knowledges of the chemistry, mathematics and physics.
