Annotation

The lecture gives information on the basic processes that lead to the transformation and transport of substances in the atmosphere, on land, in waters and between these compartments by the activities of abiotic and biotic mechanisms, both globally and locally. Emphasis is placed on processes intensified by human population development and activity.

Hydrological cycle (water movement in terrestrial ecosystem), energy flow (shortwave, longwave, water vapor, energy balance between Earth's atmosphere and surface, interconnection of energy flow and hydrological cycle), global cycle of carbon (gross, net primary production, net production) ecosystem, supply C in terrestrial ecosystems), global nitrogen cycle (terrestrial cycle N), global phosphorus cycle, global oxygen cycle, global sulfur cycle.
