How to use LaTeX; LaTeX editors; document structure; packages and their parameters, environments; text formatting; font settings; symbols; figures, numbering, referencicg; mathematical environments; typesetting formulas and equations; simple macros; tables and matrices; chemical formulas and equations; bibliography and citations; table of contents, lists of figures and tables.
Annotation
LaTeX is a system for typesetting of electronic documents. It's equipped to handle professional typesetting of text, mathematical symbols, chemical formulas, equations, even drawing schematics. It allows for easy management of bibliography, citations, references to pictures, tables and other objects accompanying text.
This course aims at introducing its participants to those elements of LaTeX that allow for comfortable writing and editing of theses and scientific papers.
