In the first part, the student presents theses of their dissertation (presentation of 15 minutes; the student submits a text of at least 2,500 words two weeks before the examination). The theses serve as a basis of a scientific discussion about the topic and progress of the dissertation. The topics of General and regional physical geography are cross-cutting, i.e. connecting different disciplines of physical geography. The main aim is to verify the orientation of the student in the field. The specialization exam is chosen according to the dissertation topic and it verifies the orientation in the given area. 1.
