Practically oriented course consists of lectures in the winter semester and exercises running both semesters. At the beginning of the course, students will first get acquainted with various tools of weather analysis and forecasting, which are then used in lectures to analyze selected weather events from the past, including examples of their forecasting.

Exercises lasting 45 minutes in both semesters take place in the form of seminars over the current weather (so-called meteo-meetings); these seminars can also be attended by other members of the academic community, active participation of participants is welcome.
