3. Paradigmatic evolution of regional policy in European countries
4. Regional development and regional policy in Czechia
5. System of local government financing in Czechia
6. EU cohesion policy and its implications for Czechia
The course represents an introduction into regional research and to regional policy in the Czech Republic in European context. Elaborates on paradigmatic changes of regional policy in developed countries, outlines the typology of regional incentives, and introduces existing support programmes - both Czech and EU.
Course deals also with regional impacts of sectoral policies, esp. of system of local government financing.
