Anotace
Cílem předmětu je odhalit studentům současné myšlenkové proudy a moderní výzkumné směry oboru politická geografie. Obsahově je kurz koncipován na představení současných výzkumů realizovaných českou politickou geografií a jejich zasazení do výzkumů světové geografie.
Tematicky je kurz strukturován do tří základních tematických celků: lokální politika a její různorodé projevy, nacionalismus a volební geografie, geopolitika a kritické přístupy studia politické geografie.
