1. Kartografie jako vědní obor, definice, klasifikace, instituce, literatura
2. Matematická kartografie: souřadnicové systémy, klasifikace kartografických zobrazení; jednoduchá, obecná a geodetická zobrazení; zkreslení
3. Mapa, kompozice mapy (základní a nadstavbové kompoziční prvky)
4. Kartografické vyjadřovací prostředky (klasifikace mapových značek)
5. Rastr a barva v tematickém obsahu
6. Metody kartografického znázorňování tematického obsahu (13 metod tematické kartografie)
7. Tvorba velikostních stupnic (statistické rozložení, mezní hodnoty intervalů)
8. Obsah mapy: topografický (výškopis, polohopis, popis) a tematický
9. Generalizace (činitele a druhy generalizace)
10. Všeobecné zásady tvorby map
11. Klasifikace map (druhy tematických map)
12. Mapám příbuzná zobrazení: prostorová znázornění, rovinná znázornění
13. Kartografické zpracování map
14. Dějiny kartografie (kartografie starověku, středověku a novověku; staré mapy Česka)
15. Kartografická díla současnosti: vybraná atlasová tvorba Česka, státní mapová díla
16. Užití map: orientace podle mapy, praktické čtení různých druhů map, měření na mapách (kartometrie)
Annotation
The one-semester course in cartography is designed and adapted in content to students of teacher studies. The course is thematically focused on the issues of general cartography theory (mathematical foundations of cartographic works, content and filling of maps, cartographic means of expression, cartographic generalization, work in map creation, etc.), historical cartography (history of world cartography and old maps of Czechia), the link to the creation and use of maps in geographical disciplines and the use of cartographic topics in the process of teaching geography.
