The lecture deals with the theory and analysis of remote sensing radar data. The interpretation and analysis of SAR data is explained in the context of the capabilities and limitations of individual data sources and their geometric, polarization and frequency properties.
The exercise is conducted through demonstrations and practical application of SNAP functions on Sentinel-1, ERS and ENVISAT/ASAR satellite data.
