Annotation

The course focuses on advanced ADVANCED GIS AND DATABASE TECHNIQUES FOR URBAN AND POPULATION

STUDIES. Students meet with GIS technologies and spatial data using in the study of urban areas as well as relevant projects and initiatives focussed on URBAN AND POPULATION STUDIES. Emphasis is placed on practical introduction to databases and GIS tools: spatial analysis, 3D visualization... Students investigate the most important spatial data databases about status and changes in urban areas, e.g. Urban Atlas, HRL from
