Dielectric properties of organic compounds. Complex permittivity, mechanisms of polarization, theory of the static permittivity.

Interpretation of the frequency-dependent measurements (Debye's equations), temperature dependencies of the relaxation times. Spectrometers for dielectric measurements, selected applications of the dielectric measurements.

Transport of the ions through biological membrane. Principles of optical microscopy.
