Annotation

The course focuses on the use of audio as one of the principal components of contemporary multimedia, including the video games, interactive multimedia presentations, theater performances, and museum exhibitions.

The course presents a “vertical slice” of audio programming, production, and design and elaborates on handling of sound by the operating system, software techniques for audio processing and synthesis, audio middleware, implementation of game audio, content production, and content design.
