Extracurricular Physics Teaching Practice II

Class at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics |
NDFY080

Syllabus

The practice is focused on the learner's active involvement in some form of non-formal education in physics. Options for implementation and completion practices are for example physics camps such as organized by FYKOS MFF UK (for high school), Výfuk MFF UK (for secondary schools) and the like.

During the training period, student participate in the creation of a program of action, its preparation, ideally is present during entire activity (min. 4 days, in the case of shorter events can be practice fulfilled by multiple events), implements several individual (or team) outputs in the form of workshops or (interactive) lectures and let evaluate his/hers activities by participants and leader of activity. Conclusion of the practice is in a form of self-evaluation questionnaire and discussion with leader of practice.

Annotation

Practical training during which the student participates in the preparation of activities in non-formal physics education, is actively organizing them or evaluates it. The student may also participate actively in the preparation and implementation of other activities such as games. Ideal possibility of practice is organization of physics camp

(for example camp of correspondence seminar). The practice may be composed of multiple one-day events. The term of practice is up to individual agreement.
