Syllabus

* 1. Basics of computational physics

Main directions of computational physics. Fluid modelling. Stochastical and deterministic particle modelling, basic ideas, algorithms.

* 2. Plasma physics

Characterisation of plasma, basic types of plasma, plasma isothermal and nonisothermal, quasineutrality, Debye shielding. Theoretical description of plasma, kinetic description, Boltzmann equation, conservation laws, magnetohydrodynamic description of plasma, generalized Ohm´s law, connection between kinetic and magnetohydrodynamic description of plasma.
