1. Introduction to physical chemistry Molecular structure, rotational, vibrational and electronic states. Positive and negative ions. Molecular ions, clusters. Hyper surfaces of potential energy. Introduction to spectroscopy. Introduction to quantum mechanical description of collision processes. Franck-Condon principle. *

2. Collision processes Ionisation, penning ionisation, excitation, deexcitation, chemical reaction, ion-molecule reaction, recombination, formation of negative ions, formation of clusters. *

3. Thermodynamics and statistical thermodynamics in physical chemistry Equilibrium and no equilibrium states, thermodynamical equilibrium. Entropy and enthalpy changes in chemical reactions. Equilibrium constant. *

4. Reaction kinetics Rate laws and rate constants. Kinetics of complex reactions. Reaction dynamics. Kinetics of ion-molecule reactions. Electron-ion and ion-ion recombination. *

5. Ion-molecule reactions in plasmatic environment Introduction to plasma and laser chemistries. Relaxation processes in decaying plasma. Reactions in ionosphere and interstellar medium. *

6. Experimental techniques Experimental techniques used in studies of elementary processes.
