Practical Introduction to Electronics II

Class at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics |
NFUF817

Syllabus

Operational amplifiers, principles of operation

Inverting and non-inverting amplifier, analog addition and subtraction of electric signals

Integration and differentiation of electric signals, comparators

Use of operational amplifiers in conjunction with sensors (lighting, temperature, pressure etc.)

Use of operational amplifiers in teaching physics (charge measurement, hysteresis loop of ferromagnetic etc.)

Integrated voltage regulators

Logic integrated circuits, combinational and sequential logic, gates, flip-flops, counters, timers

Other topics beyond the integrated technique (three-phase voltage system etc.) according to the interests and needs of the course participants

Annotation

The course follows Practical Introduction to Electronics in winter. Students under the guidance of teacher design and implement simple circuits using standard techniques (soldering, breadboard etc.).

Topics: circuits with operational amplifiers, use of some other integrated circuits (voltage regulators, logic integrated circuits, timers), applications of electronics in teaching physics in high school, construction of simple electronic devices according to an agreement with the leader of the course.
