Phenomenological introduction: collective vibrations and rotations of atomic nuclei, nuclear giant resonances, vibrations of molecules, phonons in crystal lattices.

Theoretical introduction: SU(2) collective dynamics in a simple quasispin system.

Algebraic description of collective dynamics, spectrum generating algebras, dynamical symmetries.

Simple fermionic and bosonic systems based on algebra SU(2).

Nuclear Elliot model.

Molecular vibron models.

Nuclear interacting boson model and its generalizations.

Nuclear geometric collective model.

Nuclear cluster model.

Coherent state method.

Critical phenomena in collective dynamics.
