Seminar of Jiří Tůma:
This year, the first Fields Medal for research in combinatorics ever was awarded to June Huh. We will review his main results, study fundamentals of matroid theory, and applications of Hodge theory to combinatorial problems that led to the proofs of his celebrated theorems.
