Air pollution modelling

Class at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics |
NMET528

Syllabus

Topics, which will be detailed according to the individual need of the student:

1) Models of atmospheric pollutant transport and their chemistry

2) Preparation of model input data, emissions of antropogenic and biogenic sources

3) Methods of inverse modeling

4) Coupling air quality models to climate models, impacts on human health, ecosystems and climate

5) Observation of the chemical composition of the atmosphere (in situ and remote) and their utilization in validation of model outputs

Annotation

Modeling of pollution transport and chemical transformations in the atmosphere, chemistry transport models, antropogenic and biogenic emissions, modeling of the impact of atmospheric pollution on human health, ecosystems and climate.
