Following general topics with specification based on the individual study plan of the candidate: Numerical model construction; dynamical core; parameterizations; initial and boundary conditions; model results evaluation.
Annotation
Numerical models in weather forcast and climate prediction - construction of global and limited-area models, parametrisations, validasion of model output. The instruction takes place by tutoring and the sylabus is adjusted to the specific content of the previous study and the needs according to the topic of the dissertation or the diploma thesis.
