Middle atmosphere, basic characteristics, observations, polar circulation and sudden stratospheric warmings, residual circulation, wave processes, solar cycle and climate oscillations. The syllabus will reflect individual study plans.

Radiative and dynamical processes in the middle atmosphere, effects of planetary and gravity waves, influence of solar activity, Brewer-Dobson circulation changes, polar circulation variability and influence of other factors.
