Multigrid methods for 1D problems, fast Fourier transform, BLAS, LAPACK, UMFPACK libraries and their integration into custom codes, numerical code programming and code verification, implementation and software for the finite element method, methods and software for mesh generation and adaptation, visualization software.
Annotation
The aim of this lecture is to introduce an implementation of numerical methods for the solution of concrete problems with the aid of available software.
