Syllabus
Solving of experimental problems in the field of optics, quantum optics and optoelectronics. Excursion at selected experimental facilities of institutes of Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (e.g., calibration of semiconductor detector, investigation of nonlinear optical phenomena, femtosecond laser spectroscopy, measurement of photoconductivity, introduction to semiconductor technology, investigation of surfaces and thin films).
Annotation
Students get knowledge of experimental methods of optics, quantum optics and optoelectronics. They solve experimental problems in laboratories of Faculty of Mathematics and Physics using up-to-date experimental facilities. The visit also selected laboratories of institutes of Academy of Sciences of the Czech
Republic (Institute of Physics, Institute of Photonics and Electronics).
