Intoduction to qualitative research methods. Focus groups (marketing, drugs), ethnographic research, case studies. Basic statistics for social data analysis, cluster analysis, factor analysis. Hypothesis testing.
Course is taken as an introduction to research methodology in humanities generally and with special emphasis given to educational research. The course is follow up to the Introduction to Educational Research Methodology course.
Course is open for all students, especially useful may be for students in second part of their teacher studies and for doctoral students. Course is intended to help students to prepare and realize their research for diploma paper or dissertation.
