Syllabus

Basics of communication (physical proximity, voice, gestures, eye contact)

Mindfulness in communication (awareness of aims and priorities, awareness of emotions, stress management, empathy)

Presentation (prepared and improvised presentation, feedback)

Group leadership (group types, leadership styles)

Group dynamics (phases of group development, trust in group, roles in group)

Inter-vision methods for burnout prevention (Bálint groups)

Conflict resolution and mediation (self-awareness, empathy to the other, clear and concrete expression, looking for mutually satisfactory solution)

Annotation

This course is aimed on practical training of communication skills applicable in dialogue, group leadership and conflict resolution. Emphasis is on awareness of aims and priorities, empathy and looking for a solution which satisfies all the parties involved (win-win strategy).

Practical training of stress management is also a part of the course.
