Annotation

This subject is taught in Czech.

Cultural-historical overview of Czech history in the context of European and World history. Lectures will also focus on the practical use of history in the education of children and youth. Emphasis will be placed on a significant period of Czech history (the origins of Czech statehood and culture in the early Middle Ages, the knightly culture, the thinking in the high and late Middle Ages, the culture of the time of Charles IV., Baroque and absolutism, the national revival and culture of the 20th century.
