Syllabus
The content has a character of experimental work with elementary pupils and is focused on the development and diagnosis of mathematical knowledge and abilities of pupils. The development of various languages of arithmetic (iconic, pictographic, sign); semantic anchoring of additive operations; number line as a tool for solving dynamic problems; semantic anchoring of multiplicative operations.
Annotation
The work will focus on the analysis of pupils' solutions of problems which they solve in a mathematical club, on the didactic analysis of the student teacher's way of guiding the pupils in the club, on the preparation of problems for the club, etc. A practising elementary teacher will co-lead the seminar.
