Vývoj evropské hudby od nejstarších dob po počátek 19. století. Gregoriánský chorál, raný vícehlas, gotika a další rozvoj polyfonie, renesance v Evropě a v českých zemích, baroko (charakteristika, druhy instrumentální hudby, hlavní představitelé, vznik a vývoj opery, české hudební baroko), klasicismus (hlavní představitelé, česká hudební emigrace), raný romantismus.
Annotation
The subject deals with music history periodization and description of individiul periods both from the point of uniquely musical view (style, musical types and forms, musical-expressive means) and from the generally historical point of view (the historical situation, social conditions).
