The course presents fundamental paradigms of health promotion, based on the aims of WHO plan called "Health 21". It explains health determiners and specifies health literacy issue.
It mentions coherent demographic and epidemiological data and discusses lifestyle issues. It namely focuses on infectious diseases and chronic diseases in childhood, civilization diseases, children’s injuries, provision of first aid and protection in emergency situations.
