Syllabus

The content of the course is the reflection and evaluation of the art process and its possibilities in primary education. Following for the subject Reflective practice, students notice the relationship between the art process and its product.

They observe and study species and methods of reflection and evaluation in AE, via video recordings from school practice. They learn to design appropriate ways of feedback in connection with the logic of art tasks, their curriculum, goals, art tools and individual visual media.

Evalution and asseessment in art education : Specific psycho-didactic features of evalution in art education in primary schoo. Kinds, methods and criteria of assessment.

Students deal with the issue of providing ongoing verbal feedback to pupils and the methodology of developing self-esteem and peer assessment.
