Annotation
This course is a continuation of course K07. It focuses mainly on the syntactic phenomena within compound and complex sentence.
The topics covered include classification of subordinate clauses, syntactic functions of non-finite verb forms, word order, and functional sentence perspective. Selected English texts are analysed and Czech counterparts to individual phrases found.
