Annotation
The basic terms: the word and lexeme (as "dictionary entry"). The word: an orthographic, a phonological, a lexical, a grammatical unit. Lexical semantics. Grammatical words; clitics: neither words nor affixes.Morphs and morphemes: the choice among allomorphs. A formal typology of word-formation (derivology) as a part of lexicology. The basic notion of word formation: foundation and motivation. The concept of onomasiological category (OC) and the classifiaction of
OCs.The formation of new naming units and its means. The concepts of the word-formative type, the word-formative type, the word-formative category, and of productiveness. The morphological and the word-formative structure of the word, and the morphological and word-formative analysis. Lexicography: a field of applied linguistics. The types of dictionaries. The scope of idiomatics. Functions of idioms: the structural and nominative.
