* Introduction to social psychology
* Purpose of the course:
The purpose of the course is to introduce the social psychology as a bordering discipline between psychology and sociology (the borders will be identified and the common fields and characteristics as well). The object and the development of social psychology and the basic theories and concepts of social psychology will be presented. The emphasis will be laid on establishing the theoretical and methodological background for applying the social-psychological approaches to a school reality (for example classroom as a social group).

-Object of social psychology. Link between social psychology and other disciplines. Methodology.
-Socialization. Socialization in family and in school.
-Social role. Personal identity.
-Social cognition.
-Attitude. Prejudice, stereotype.
-Social group. Individuality and a group. Diagnostics of relationships in a group.
-Social communication.
-Social behavior.
-Social change.
-Social motivation.
The objective of the course is to make students familiar with social psychology major topics and with application of the findings and information in current educational anvironment by individual studentś major.
