Syllabus
The course is focused on Czech counselling system and activities of an educational counsellor.The course is focused on standard diagnostic and intervention methods and procedures of counseling institutions in the Czech Republic.
Course contents:
Counselling service in today school, ethic aspects of counselor's work.
Characteristics of work of a school psychologist.
Preschool child in pedagogical -psychological advice center, diagnostical processes, parent consultation, analysis of casuistics.
Examination of children between 8 and11, most common problems, adaptation in 1'st grade, school failure, social problems. Diagnostical process, possible interventional variants.
