* Content of the course: 1.Seriousness of the problem: Skills of reading, writting and counting in the contemporary culture. Insufficient school results and professional career.

Insufficient school results and position of the child in its family. Insufficient school results and development of person.

Secondary symptomatology. Language and orientation in the live. 2.Questions of terminology: Assessment of school results.

Assessment of intelligence. Relationship between the learning difficulties and current intelligence. 3.Etiology of learning difficulties: Genetic influences, environment influences - family, school. 4.Neuro-psychological approaches: Luria's neuro-psychological model of basic unit of brain.

Lempp's application of Luria's model. D.J.Bakker's approach to dyslexia. 5.Behavior disorders: Primary symptomatology.

Secondary symptomatology. Project of Betz and Breunninger. 6.System approach: System, relationship among systems, causal approach.

Overtness, functionality of system. Virtual consequences of system thinking. 7.Development of perception and memory: Wholeness and constancy of perception.

Progress and developmental disorders of visualy perception. Progress nad developmental disorders of auditory perception.

Progress and developmental disorders of sequences and time understanding. Progress and developmental disorders of orientation in space - psycho-motor development, perception of body scheme.

Development of memory and disorder of remembering of information.
