Syllabus
Improving an understanding of notions of visual and cultural theories: influence and power of discursive formations, discourses of school and gallery discursive practice (discourse of images) as constitutive agents in social field. Empirical spectator as an agent of signification and meaning, post-structural and semiotic influences in understanding of the cultural text/context.
Annotation
Interpretation of an artwork. The work of art as a specific visual and cultural text. Designing of educational programme and testing of its particular elements.
Reflection and evaluation. Educational programme and empirical spectatorship in the gallery and in the public spaces.
Visual and cultural literacies as basic professional competencies of an art education teacher.
