Syllabus
Předmět navazuje na příslušné předměty morfologické a anatomické; soustřeďuje se na výklad funkcí a procesů probíhajících v jednotlivých orgánových systémech. Dále je důraz položen zejména na pochopení regulačních systémů savců a člověka, zvláště pak na soustavu endokrinní, nervovou a systém imunitní.
Nedílnou součástí obsahu předmětu jsou i metabolické procesy na příslušných úrovních organizace organismu. Pozornost je věnována i fyziologickým adaptacím a jejich významu pro obratlovce.
Annotation
The course builds on relevant morphological and anatomical lectures and courses; it focuses on the interpretation of functions and processes taking place in individual organ systems. Emphasis is placed primarily on understanding the regulatory systems of mammals, with a specific focus on humans, especially the endocrine, nervous and immune systems.
An integral part of the course are metabolic processes at the appropriate levels of the organization of the body, as well as mentioning some typical pathologies, which are caused by impaired regulation of body functions. Attention is also paid to physiological adaptations and their importance for vertebrates.
