This subject is taught in Czech.
The course is a continuation and develoment of Úvod do studia dějepisu I. In this part student learn especially about auxiliary historical disciplines and their practical use. Therefore students train reading of old texts, external and internal criticism of historical sources, their datation and structure, etc. The essay at the end should teach the student how to work independently and how to handle a given topic. There are short excursions to archives and other institutions, too.
