Practical Language I

Class at Faculty of Education |
OB2307A01

Annotation

In the Practical Language classes, students act by means of everyday situations and texts with themes of the German grammar. Central is the revision and systematic practice of the most important grammatical phenomena and forms. All four skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) are supported. Students will improve their communication competence in spoken and written German and extend their vocabulary. At the end of their bachelor studium (Practical Languages 6), students should have arrived B2+ level. Grammatical themes are the same in all parallel groups. Beyond this, Practical Language Classes afford the possibility to deal with students’ individual problems.

Grammar: subjunctive 2, passive, word order, negation

Themes/vocabulary: family, business, application, letter of motivation
