Annotation
The course shows students the concept of children?s rights and its basis in rights philosophy and in child psychiatry. The aim is to increase awareness of children?s rights in the Czech Republic.
The course focuses on clarifying the following terms: basic life values, historical development of rights, social ecological module. The course emphasizes the need of interdisciplinary approach towards children?s protection.
The course offers students space to develop their opinions and to present them, to analyze their attitudes and discuss specific cases.
